About Sam

Sam Dudgeon is a renowned Acupuncturist and a professional, caring and passionate Chinese Medicine Practitioner with over 19 years clinical experience.

Sam treats men, women, & all members of the family, from all walks of life.   His ability to provide highly attuned treatments for often complex or difficult to treat health conditions mean that many patients often seek his support for pain management, sciatica, tinnitus, migraine, & stress or angst, amongst a broad range of other conditions.  His understanding of health is holistic; he has an authentic understanding of the psyche, and how stress and the mind impact disease and illness.

He is a most revered speaker and regularly holds seminars around the country for fellow practitioners on topics such as Abdominal Ba Gua Acupuncture - an exceptionally gentle way of treating a range of conditions via superficial needling on the abdomen, without having to needle the actual site of the issue!  Patients also seek him out for amazingly insightful Chinese and Planetary Astrology consultations, further adding to his ability to support patients’ health holistically.

Sam will work with you to support alleviating pain and presenting issues at the surface while addressing the root causes internally. He always aims to empower his patients to manage their own condition and best attain optimum wellbeing in their own daily life.

He holds numerous tertiary qualifications in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Health Science from Australia, as well as having undertaken medical internships in China.

Treatments with Sam

An initial consultation involves a thorough health history consultation, and Chinese tongue & pulse analysis. Depending on his diagnosis, Sam draws upon Tung Acupuncture, Ba Gua Acupuncture, Moxa and Gua Sha techniques.  Chinese herbal medicine can sometimes be an essential part of healing, and Sam often recommends and prescribes it when needed.  An excellent Acupuncturist who is highly motivated to get results, you can look forward to a strong treatment when appropriate, or a most gentle solution for those with hesitation about needling.
